Corey Alexander Darrell Fenwick, MBA

I’m Corey, and each day I lead with wisdom gained from my past. While the past provides a base of wisdom, I remain a steadfast dreamer with an unwavering belief that everyone has the ability to be creative, resourceful, and whole. As a member of the board, I look forward to bringing both my wisdom, and raw truth to enable our mission to let love reign. My current role as a Strategic Transformation Sr. at the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation, or Freddie Mac, has provided me a format to align business strategy with result-driven outcomes. Prior to my current role, I’ve held several IT-related positions within both the private and public sector working for companies such as Apple, the International Monetary Fund, & the Social Security Administration.

Education has always been important to me, thanks to my parents. I’ve been both honored and privileged to have achieved my Bachelor of Science in International Marketing from Arizona State University and my Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. My journey from West Baltimore to academic and professional excellence is a story of hope. I’m excited to bring my knowledge, time, and heart to the forefront to maximize our mission in choosing love.

Khatira Darvesh (she/her)

As an Afghan refugee, who grew up in developing countries, Khatira envisions a world where children like her are not forced to leave their homes and communities due to conflict, poverty or other circumstances outside of their control. With this vision and a master’s degree in International Development, she has been supporting vulnerable communities around the world through her work with international non-profits and humanitarian aid organizations. Khatira brings her experience and dedication to creating a more equitable world to the Let’s Choose Love movement as a grant facilitator and storyteller.

Khatira is passionate about bottom-up development where positive change is driven by local communities. She is a feminist-in-progress and an advocate for equity. Khatira is extremely excited to be a part of and support the Let’s Choose Love community.

Living her adult life in the DMV area, Khatira loves to hike the Shenandoah Valley in her free time, as well as engage in aerial sports and travel internationally as much as possible.

Hallie Venaglia (she/her)

Hallie Venaglia is part of the Let’s Choose Love Give Back team. Hallie brings her experience supporting non-profits, community-based organizations, and educational institutions to the Let’s Choose Love movement as a grant facilitator, storyteller, and innovator.

Hallie is passionate about enhancing community connections and offers her background in education, community organization and creativity skills to support Let’s Choose Love grant recipients with elevating their stories of how they impact their communities.

Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, Hallie spends much of her time farming on a small biodynamic farm and exploring the mountains on her bike.

Wendy B White (she/her) - Founder

Wendy’s activism journey began at the ripe young age of 11, when she formed the “Action Club”, doing a variety of good deeds around her community. As an adult, Wendy injects love and purpose into every single thing she does. Professionally, Wendy has grown from leading youth programming and summer camps, to leading corporate leaders in adventure-based trainings, to creating a very successful consulting firm, Continuum Consulting LLC, which guides leaders from across the global business spectrum. Starting Let’s Choose Love has been a deep passion project that combines Wendy’s excellence in coaching with her desire to cultivate more love and kindness in the world.

Wendy loves spending time with her two adult children, traveling, adventuring, and enjoying live music. Wendy is also very involved in her local community, Asheville, North Carolina.

Lisa Marie Main (she/her)

Lisa Marie Main, co-founder, and President of Continuum Consulting Services, is an accomplished leader, trainer, consultant, executive coach and facilitator of interactions that lead to alignment and results-based action for business and organizational leaders worldwide.

Lisa is passionate about unleashing the potential of humanity. Over 20 years and counting, she fulfills this purpose in her many roles, from leading a country-wide Appreciative Inquiry process in Azerbaijan to engaging leaders and teams in adventure-based programs. Lisa is excited to join the Let’s Choose Love board to further support human potential. Lisa brings expertise in organizational and leadership development, team and culture building, and professional coaching to the Let’s Choose Love team.
