Where Innovation Meets Love
Love has never been limited by geography, background, industry, or economic status. It has the ability to enter any room, inspire action, and connect people around a shared desire to create a better world.
That belief recently traveled to the 2026 Bitcoin Conference with Let’s Choose Love board member Corey Fenwick. Surrounded by conversations about decentralization, financial freedom, emerging technology, and the future of currency, Corey introduced attendees to a different but complementary movement, one centered on love, empowerment, and community impact.
For Corey, the connection between the two movements was clear.
“Bitcoin is a movement of decentralization and a return to the empowerment of the individual,” Corey explained. “Let’s Choose Love is a movement focused on making the world a brighter place. Love starts from within, and empowerment starts from within.”
When individuals recognize their worth and potential, they become better equipped to create change within their families, communities, and the world around them. That connection between personal empowerment and collective progress inspired Corey to represent Let’s Choose Love at the conference.
“We tend to see technology as cold and separate, but technology is a reflection of us as a collective,” Corey said. “When you choose to fill technology with love, the possibilities are endless.”
Throughout the three-day conference, Corey proudly represented Let’s Choose Love and introduced attendees to its mission of supporting individuals and grassroots changemakers who are working to bring their Give Back Dreams to life.
Through mini catalyst grants, coaching, storytelling, and community connection, Let’s Choose Love helps people transform compassionate ideas into meaningful action. These ideas may begin with one person, but their impact can ripple outward, strengthening neighborhoods, supporting families, and inspiring others to serve.
One of the most memorable moments of the conference occurred during a panel discussion titled “Financial Freedom as a Human Right.” Panelist Evan Mawarire shared a story centered on courage, freedom, and the power of an individual to help inspire a movement.
For Corey, the discussion offered a meaningful contrast to many of the conference’s conversations about data, mathematics, markets, and charts. The panel shifted the focus from financial systems alone to the people those systems have the potential to serve.
“It was less a message of greed and more of a message of hope,” Corey reflected. “Evan made a decision grounded in love that led to the movement of a nation. It reminded attendees that movements created in our hearts can ripple outward and create an impact both far and wide.”
That message closely reflects the foundation of Let’s Choose Love. The organization believes meaningful change often begins with an individual who recognizes a need, chooses to care, and decides to act.
Corey and other representatives spoke with numerous attendees about the Let’s Choose Love movement and the work being done to equip people to create change. The overall response was one of gratitude and excitement.
Many attendees appreciated seeing the human side of innovation represented at the conference. They were encouraged to learn about an organization actively supporting people who are building movements, serving their communities, and creating a brighter future through love.
According to Corey, the organization’s presence helped awaken something deeper within many of the people they encountered.
“They were excited to hear how we empower movers to create their movements through love,” he said. “It became apparent that our presence sparked the heart center of those we connected with during the conference.”
The experience also produced a meaningful new relationship. As a result of the conference, Let’s Choose Love connected with Evan and the This Flag movement to further share stories of hope, courage, and love.
Evan was invited to participate in Let’s Choose Love’s ongoing Love on Record podcast series, which provides individuals with an opportunity to share how love has influenced their lives, leadership, and service. He accepted the invitation, opening the door to what Corey described as a strong partnership grounded in light, love, and empowerment.
This connection demonstrates why it is important for Let’s Choose Love to enter spaces that may not traditionally be associated with nonprofit work or community-based giving. Movements grow when their message reaches beyond familiar audiences and introduces new people to meaningful ways they can use their influence, resources, ideas, and relationships.
Innovation alone does not determine the future. The values placed within that innovation will help determine who benefits from it and how it is used.
For Corey, choosing love in financial and technological spaces means looking beyond nationality, ethnicity, wealth, and country of origin. It means making the conscious decision to act with compassion, regardless of the currency people use or the systems in which they operate.
“Currencies can govern our external lives, but love governs our internal lives,” Corey said. “It is my hope that financial technology can help bridge existing gaps and create a stronger, more independent, heart-based economy where technology and money aid in spreading and amplifying love.”
The form of currency may continue to evolve, but the responsibility to use our resources with purpose remains.
A financial contribution can help a changemaker purchase supplies, launch a community initiative, or introduce a much-needed service. A relationship can lead to a partnership. A platform can elevate an important story. A conversation can inspire someone to recognize that they, too, possess the ability to make a difference.
At the 2026 Bitcoin Conference, Let’s Choose Love carried a simple but powerful message into a rapidly changing financial world. Progress is most meaningful when it empowers people, strengthens communities, and creates opportunities for others to thrive.
Whether people give through traditional currency, digital currency, time, service, influence, or human connection, the greatest value is found in what their generosity makes possible.
